Charlotte and I just got back from picking blueberries with our friend Brandy. What a wonderful start to the morning! The other day a customer mentioned to Brandy that she found a great place to go blueberry picking right off of highway 99 just north of Corvallis. Brandy had been wanting to go picking for awhile now this summer and I thought it sounded fun as well so as soon as we woke up this morning we were in the car and took a short drive down to Anderson Blues on Arboretum Rd. We arrived just before it got too hot or too busy with people. We both picked about 4 lbs. of berries while Charlotte scavenged the ground for her own share. I'm going to have to find some delicious recipes for my berries.
